Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Advisory This position is part of the Capital Advisory practice group of Aon Reinsurance Solutions. This practice group helps insurers and reinsurers to:devise balance sheet solutions supporting capital managementdevelop strategies for optimisation of capital, tailored to risk appetiteapply for and/or maintain the financial strength rating,assess and/or improve Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practice,adapt to evolving regulatory requirements,analyze dynamic market information, andoptimize reinsurance program from a rating and/or regulatory capital perspective.Aon is in the business of better decisions  At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.   As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.  What the day will look likeDevelop a thorough understanding of the rating methodologies and capital models of major international rating agencies. Advise clients on rating application and/or maintenance.Monitor the change of Asia Pacific insurers and reinsurers ratings. Help both colleagues and external clients to obtain and understand market security information in a timely manner.Build and maintain Asia Pacific Insurance Database. Produce reports at both company level and country level.Monitor the evolution of insurance regulations of major Asia Pacific markets. Periodically issue regulatory updates to both internal and external stakeholders.Assess the impact on rating and / or regulatory capital due to the implementation of reinsurance. Skills and experience that will lead to successBachelor or Masters degree, in the area of finance, accounting, insurance, or actuarial science.This position is open to both fresh graduates and candidates with 1 – 3 years working experience. Ideal candidates are those with a financial background with experience and/or strong interest in general insurance. It is a hybrid role that requires both analytical and client-facing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint. VBA programming is a plus.Solid finance and accounting knowledge.
