Job Details:
This position supports the continuous cycle of analysis, forecasting, and monthly financial close process for capital spending, depreciation, and project expense. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous experience as an analyst with a manufacturing CPG company. A minimum of three years’ experience is required. The position will report to a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Finance which is on the exhibited career path for this individual.
Capital Expenditures
Provide finance support for capital & other project expenditures
Review capital/expense projects for overall correctness
Work with Engineering/Ops/Prop Accounting to resolve project issues.
Provide support for coordinating post audit completion reviews
Provide support for frequent ad hoc requests
Month End Close/Other Financial Tasks
Provide monthly financial results and analysis compared to planned results
Complete quarterly CIP reviews
Complete weekly reports (Pre-Approved Projects; Weekly Comparison)
Forecasting
Support annual/SP operating plan and LE rolling capital spend forecast
Provide AOP and LE forecasts for depreciation, project expense, and asset write-offs
Support strategic planning process working closely with Finance & Engineering
Provide monthly project expense files for Operations & Engineering to update
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Proficient knowledge of accounting principles & policies
Proficient in financial analysis
SAP experience preferred
3 to 5 years’ experience in Finance, preferably with a manufacturing CPG company
CMA, CPA or MBA preferred, but not required
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong project management and analytical skills required
Strong interpersonal, training, presentation and communication skills required
