Top level financial and accounting position with a multi-state New Car Dealer Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for the candidate with the necessary credentials and experience. Requires active CPA license and minimum 10 years working at the Controller level or above with a high volume dealer organization. This person will be responsible for improving financial controls and instituting company wide expense reduction measures. Will have oversight on all areas including new & used vehicle sales, leasing, service, technicians, parts, auto body, car rental and manufacturer relations. All existing locations are currently profitable and this ownership group is focused on growth and expansion. Must have a proven track record of putting in place effective processes and supervising a large and diverse staff of dealership accounting personnel. Past experience in converting dealership operating systems would be a definite plus. Direct reporting will be to the ownership group plus strategy and planning dialogue with store general managers.
