Serves as the focal point for collecting, verifying and processing new IT project requests.
Collects, reviews, monitor and analyzes project/portfolio planning information, metrics, SLAs and performance to identify, communicate and mitigate project/portfolio risks.
Responsible for analyzing and monitoring portfolio business cases and project requests provides support to business sponsors for business case development and benefits harvesting.
Responsibilities

Communicates portfolio management team offerings with project stakeholders as required.
Understands and maintains the data governance policies and processes that are required to consistently create and maintain accurate data.
Establishes project request submission deadlines based on project governance schedule.
Provides feedback and education to project managers, business analysts, and business project sponsors about the project request process and tool
Defines and verifies tool functionality required to support the project submission and approval process.
Understands roles and responsibilities in relation to program governance to ensure uniform direction and intent throughout the lifecycle of the program.
Tracks and monitors all IT project requests to ensure they are complete and responded to on a timely basis.
Analyzes the project portfolio and develops action plans in the areas of:
Project demand.
Budget and financial information.
Project performance.
Performs project request data integrity analysis and identifies focus areas for improvement.
Reviews submitted project request and ensures quality and completeness prior to submittal to governance
Provides grammatically correct, succinct written communications for status of processes, etc.
Leading meetings: creates meaningful and effective meeting agenda, takes charge, actively participates and ensures on-time, effective team meetings.
Incorporates One CHI policies and procedures into daily work efforts.
Communicates IT PMO vision or sense of purpose to those within sphere of influence.','!*!Skills, Requirements, Certifications

1-3  years of project management and standards experience required including:
3 years Project management experience
2 years Portfolio management experience
3 years’ experience as project analyst or business analyst
Healthcare industry and/or IT experience is preferred.
Experience with project management applications (e.g., Microsoft Project Pro/Server, Clarity, Primavera) and ERP system experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of project management best practices and frameworks such as PMI or CMM is preferred.
Bachelor of science in business administration or equivalent
Experience with project planning, prioritizing, and governance required.
Project Management Office experience strongly preferred.
Able to develops schedules and plans; sets clear and realistic objectives and goals
Demonstrates attention to detail; is organized and articulate
Directs and channels people and material to accomplish goals
Very organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to perform data and trend analysis
Communicates in clear and simplified speech, tailoring presentations to audience.
Interactions, Hand-offs

Works closely with Portfolio Manager to manage and facilitate Preliminary Proposal and Business Case generation
Provides portfolio information to Director, Portfolio Management and Portfolio Manager.
Provides feedback and education to project managers, business case analysts, and business project sponsors.
Assists the Portfolio Manager prepare for monthly IT governance meetings.
