Description

Retention is a key component of our overall Medicare Growth strategy and is an enterprise-wide priority. The Business Intelligence Lead solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Lead works on identifying drivers of Medicare member voluntary terminations so that teams across the company can implement initiatives to improve retention.

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Lead leverages tools, technologies, applications and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present the organization's raw data to create actionable insights related to Medicare member retention. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Collaborates with many teams across the company including customer journey teams, product, marketing, sales, service, consumer experience and analytics that are all leading retention initiatives. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree and 8 years experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of experience
2 years of project leadership experience
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations (using SQL, SAS or other data systems)
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction (ie: Power BI, Tableau or Qlik)
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data
Proficiency in verbal/written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors


Additional Information

This position is located at the Humana Tower in Louisville, KY or could work

remote.

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
