Casing Hardware Portfolio Manager

The Casing Hardware Portfolio Manager is responsible for the global reach of a group of products and services, and liaises with line management and Supply Chain to optimize asset utilization and capital investment. The position advises on global product development prioritization, and identifies opportunities for business growth and integrated solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
Analyze information concerning product sustaining, new product requirements and product ideas in compliance with the Product Development Process (PDP).
Collaborate with the GeoMarkets, Product Line Marketing and product development teams in the PDP.
With Marketing, introduce new products and services.
Advise line management to ensure resources commensurate with the market opportunity are put in place to maximize product or service revenues and profitability.
Help create and implement the marketing plan for the assigned product.
Serve as product expert for Sales and Commercial and Marketing on product-related matters.
Provide first-level support to the Sales force within all the domains of the assigned product as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
15 years of experience.
College degree required.
Candidate must be a technical Subject Matter Expert on Casing Hardware & Float Equipment, with “hands-on” experience in: handling the equipment, installing/using the casing centralizers and cementing float equipment, designing/developing equipment/products/portfolios, fabricating/manufacturing casing hardware & float equipment, understanding product & process qualification requirements as stipulated by industry recognized authorities such as API, ISO, etc.
Must be able to collaborate across business stakeholders: from Sales & Commercial, to Operational Planning & Supply Chain (procurement & sourcing), in order to understand client requirements, develop suppliers (OEM’s – original equipment manufacturers), and translate planning pipelines into on-time delivery strategies such as “just-in-time-production”, consignment stock-on-hand, etc.
Must have the foresightedness to support the development of future technologies surrounding centralization & float equipment. This also will require the ability to collaborate between client facing teams (PSD’s, GAD’s, GAM’s, Sales & Commercial, etc.) and the Company-Brand qualified supply base, to understand what the field needs and assuring flawless service (& product) delivery.
Knowledge and understanding of API requirements as applicable to casing hardware & float equipment.
Casing Hardware & Float Equipment engineering & development & design platforms such as MasterCAM, AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.
SAP knowledge/understanding/experience is desired.
