About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated student to be a part of our Accounting Internship program for the Summer. Our goal is to provide students with a well-rounded, technical experience during the internship to help prepare them for their new career.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and record journal entries during month-end close
Prepare specific balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis
Tie-out and review SEC filings such as the 10-Q report
Assist earnings process and other third-party materials including investor decks, etc.
Coordinate with internal and external audit teams on Sarbanes-Oxley testing and other internal control improvements and documentation
Perform other duties and projects, as assigned, to assist the Finance organization
ABOUT YOU:
Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical ability
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
