We are seeking an exceptional FP&A Senior Finance Analyst to support the Marketing organization. This role is part of the Go to Market FP&A team and will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Accounting, Corporate Finance, and the Marketing organization among others.
This role requires a self-starter with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and business modeling skills. This role will have regular interactions with the Marketing leaders and team members to provide an overview of actuals, forecast, headcount trends, and business improvement recommendations.
What You Will Be Doing
Own the budget and forecasting analysis process to provide timely actual vs budget variance analysis
Partner with the Accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy in accruals, prepaids, and invoicing
Review and approve purchase requisitions
Provide visibility to the Marketing team through weekly, monthly and quarterly budget reviews
Anticipate business variances, minimize the impact of variance surprises by leveraging quarterly flash and outlook indicators, and proactively communicate to stakeholders
Be the go-to subject matter expert on all things finance for the broader Marketing & Operations organization, providing training and direction as needed
Develop and maintain recurring management presentation packages summarizing key trends and relevant analysis and monthly reviews with Marketing leaders and their team members
Develop and implement process and system improvements, including budget and headcount tracking as well as the calculation of success metrics
Partner with the Marketing Operations team to improve and maintain accuracy in Marketing’s budgeting system, Allocadia.
Perform ad-hoc projects/analysis as needed
What You Bring To The Team
BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA a plus
2-4 years of experience in FP&A
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling with strong Excel skills
Great systems experience in Excel, Google Sheets, Anaplan, NetSuite, Allocadia, Alteryx, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar systems and tools. High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases. Proficiency in MS Access, SQL, or database programming languages is a plus
Attention to detail when necessary and ability to synthesize large volumes of data and summarize into presentation/management views
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, collaborative, positive attitude, and a strong team player
