We are actively seeking an ambitious and driven candidate to join our Finance Organization as a key member of the Business Finance team. The Business Finance Team interfaces with departments and contacts throughout the company to improve business processes, implement strategic recommendations, promote profitable and prudent decision making, and provide critical financial analysis. The Manager of Business Finance and Strategy will focus on cloud financial operations, product profitability, margin improvement, and strategic advisory. In addition, this individual will interface with numerous departments and individuals at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. ranging from staff to executive leaders to provide strategic insights and influence business processes and decision making. Success in this role requires a desire to understand **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s product lines both technically and financially, an interest in cloud financial operations, and an aptitude for managing dynamic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, interpret, and manage cloud hosting financial trends
Oversee $30M of annual spend with key cloud vendors
Develop and maintain standard cost models for product-level profitability
Integrate with Product and Engineering teams to develop business cases, provide and hoc reporting, and evaluate financial success of initiative
Partner with FP&A to interpret quarterly results at a product-line and regional level to influence and inform product priorities by highlighting successes, weaknesses, anomalies, and other influential trends
Assist Controllership with recording and reporting GAAP-compliant cloud hosting and vendor expenses
Identify deficiencies or lapses in current processes and drive positive improvements
Promulgate **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s nascent FinOps practice
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required
4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business strategy roles
Experience building and evaluating complex financial models
Experience working with Product and Engineering organizations
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including ability to collaborate and build consensus
Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
