Job Description
This Financial Analyst role position is responsible for compiling Investment Notes & Analyses for Executive review & approval, assist with financial analysis and reporting, ensure meaningful and relevant information while guaranteeing data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
More specifically, this role will handle the following:
Investment Notes & Analyses
Responsible for Investment Notes & Analyses for all Investments and Sales Proposals requiring Executive review & approval. The reviews require a complete financial profile including expected Profitability, Cash Flow, Internal Rate of Return and Return on Capital Employed
Short and long-term budget, forecasting and reporting
Assist with monthly financial reporting & analysis
Assist with monthly forecasting
Assist with annual and long-term financial planning
Project support
Investment/acquisition modeling, valuation & due diligence as directed
Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations
Qualifications Core Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business or Finance from an AACSB accredited institution required
Solid business acumen required and is expected to demonstrate insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide relevant information to business unit partners that help achieve business goals.
Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite
Strong financial modeling skills (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong business writing and communication skills
Ability to analyze financial statements and KPI’s
Highly motivated team player and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced teamwork environment
Must be flexible to adapt to changes in workload
