St. Margaretu2019s Center is a 94 bed skilled nursing facility providing short-term, long-term, and respite care to children and young adults with disabilities. To learn more about St. Margaretu2019s Center, please check out our Virtual Tour: ****Director of Business Operations is part of the senior leadership team of St. Margaretu2019s Center, responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the facility and the efficiency and effectiveness of daily facility operations. The Director leads and manages the nursing homeu2019s finances, compliance and operations (outside of clinical and nursing culture), works closely with the Nursing Home Administrator and participates in decision making and problem solving as part of this team.Responsibilities: Serve as a resource and advisor to the Nursing Home Administrator on operational, financial, regulatory, and administrative matters Partner with Administrator on the strategic planning process Establishes clear performance goals and measures to track accountability and outcomes Provides advice, counsel, and direction on financial priorities, including forecasting and anticipation of trends or variances to align resources Develop annual capital and operating budget with Nursing Home Administrator Perform risk assessments to identify potential risks in partnership with CFDS Compliance and Quality Improvement Departments Maintain positive relations with employees, leadership, and external agencies or vendorsParticipates in negotiations, evaluations (service and quality) and oversight of all contracted or vendor relationships (Dietary, RT, Rehab Therapy, etc.) and purchasingProvide fiscal oversight during monthly reconciliations or expenditures and revenues across financial accountsEnsure accurate and thorough financial data based on GAAPRequirements: Bacheloru2019s degree in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, HealthCare Administration, or related field is required. Graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) is preferred At least 2 years of job related experience, specifically in Healthcare Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting Knowledge of Nursing Home regulations and experience interacting with Medicaid/ Managed Medicaid/ Private Insurance products is a plus This position operates in a 24/7 nursing home facility. As a result, this position, without notice, may be expected to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends. The compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 annually. Salary is commensurate on experience.
