We’re looking for a talented manager to join our UAE Finance & Strategy Team. As the scale and complexity of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. grows every day, we need dynamic, entrepreneurial, analytical thinkers to support in optimising decision making and driving quick, profitable growth. As a trusted business partner to the Middle East business, you will be setting strategic direction, modelling out the impact of key strategic initiatives, and tracking performance vs. our ambitious financial and commercial plans.
Role
Provide analytical driven insight to support functional leads and understand the P&L impact of those decisions. You will work with stakeholders to manage data and model strategic initiatives to drive the long-term growth of the business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, has strong analytical capabilities, is hands on and a self-starter, and can work closely with senior management.
The job will involve:
Modelling and reviewing appropriate strategic initiatives and support delivery of overall long-range plans
Identification and execution of value adding strategic initiatives, holding yourself accountable to deliver results while being comfortable getting your hands dirty to get the job done
Committed to adding value equally with analytical insight as well as execution
Understanding and influencing the underlying performance drivers to help drive the top and bottom line
Forecasting Middle East financial performance and tracking to plan
Supporting the wider business by working with them through business casing for various new initiatives, running independent workstreams
Providing proactive, insightful, high quality analysis to support decision making in the context of wider business implications
Translating actions and initiatives into targets and long-range plans for the business
Collating competitor intelligence
Being a key point of contact for the Consumer and Data Science teams in our London HQ
Requirements
5 yrs of experience in an analytical, strategic or commercial role (investment banking and/or consulting experience are a strong plus)
Advanced GSheet/Excel skills
A good understanding of SQL - pre existing/ 2 months expectation to learn. Ultimately, you’ll be expected to be able to extract the data you need for your analysis
Complex financial modelling experience
Can demonstrate strong analytical achievements and confidence with numbers
Clear confident communicator, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
Team player able to work with tact, humility and patience
A pragmatic, commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity
Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company
Strong motivation with the ability to work quickly and accurately in tight deadlines
Fluent English (written and spoken)
