Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.As the Senior Financial Analyst, Global Operations Technical Accounting, you will be part of the Enterprise Financial Reporting (EFR) Team which is responsible for HPEs accounting policies, external reporting and all technical accounting topics. As part of this team, you will partner closely with the Supply Chain Finance Organization and will provide guidance and direction on new strategic business initiatives, maintain and update our accounting policies around inventory, and provide support to our internal and external auditors. This critical role will work closely with cross-functional and geographically dispersed groups, including business partners at all levels of the organization.How youll make your mark:Provide financial analysis over material supply chain accountsFunction as a key business partner to Supply Chain Finance, advising them on new strategic initiativesProvide oversight on significant accounting transactions to ensure they are in compliance with US GAAPReview existing processes & controls, drive global process improvements and ensure compliance within the SOX 404 frameworkAssist in managing the annual physical inventory count and cycle count processes, including working with outsourced manufacturingHelp coordinate quarterly and annual audit requirements, including preparing and compiling data for audit supportAbout you:BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance5 years of overall Accounting/Finance work experience in the high tech industryStrong knowledge of master data and ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reportsAdvanced skills in Excel and spreadsheet modellingSuperior written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks, be a self-starter and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentFlexible to work across time zonesPrevious supply chain, inventory, and warranty experience is not required, but is a significant plus
