Your role: As a Director Investment Administration, Responsible for investment guideline compliance for approximately 40 fixed income investment portfolios averaging $39 billion dollars daily. This role will also be responsible for monitoring approximately 350 investment guideline rules in the Bloomberg AIM compliance module. Maintain and monitor all aspects of investment compliance daily and report any investment guidelines exceptions to management and ADP Trust Company Investment Committee and Delaware Board of Directors / Managers.

What you'll do:


Monitor Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module
Create, update, and modify investment guideline and internal guideline restrictions periodically.
Update Bloomberg account groups for new portfolios
Complete timely and accurate Bloomberg override of trades when necessary
Review and sign-off on automated daily Bloomberg compliance reports for overrides, new compliance violation summary and new compliance violation details
Modify and check exposure limits on days when we obtain a waiver to increase exposure limits on certain investing and borrowing days.
Complete monthly/quarterly/annual reviews of Bloomberg watch lists
Review restrictions and remove those which are no longer applicable.
Review changes in money market funds exposure to ensure additions or deletions are reflected in Bloomberg Watchlists

Annual update of investment guideline exposure limits based on prior year average investment balances.
Ensure that all internal and outside manager transactions meet ADP’s Investment Guidelines.
Review automated PORTIA (investment accounting system) Credit Watch report.

Identify changes and potential compliance issues.
Prepare and send weekly email to Compliance Committee associates.

Calculate ADP’s exposure to its concentration bank daily.
Verify all Bloomberg rating changes have been reported by Credit Team by end of day.
Monthly pricing research and update PORTIA for unpriced securities
Quarterly pricing validation and ASC820 reporting for ADP’s consolidated financial statements.
Obtain and communicate ADP bond pricing to Corporate Treasury on a quarterly basis.
Investment guideline compliance reporting:

Schedule and lead monthly meetings with ADP Delaware management and team to review portfolio compliance.
Report investment guideline infractions and exceptions, including annual exception tracking at the quarterly ADP Delaware Board meetings, and the quarterly ADP Trust Company Investment Committee meetings.

Provide audit support to ADP’s internal auditors and external auditors as requested.
Update macro and micro investment guideline file after changes are made to the investment guidelines on an annual or as needed basis.
Perform other tasks as requested by the President and Chief Financial Officer – ADP Delaware investment operation.
Train staff member(s) to assist with back-up compliance duties when needed.


Qualifications you'll need:


Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent is required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or CPA is desirable.
Minimum 5-7 years extensive experience within the asset management industry and a thorough knowledge of investment grade fixed income products
Knowledge of the PORTIA investment accounting system and Bloomberg system are highly desired.
Excellent written and presentation skills.
Strong internal controls mindset (ability to identify and close control gaps and/or issues)
Ability to respond and react to a variety of different critical issues simultaneously.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and provide rapid response.
Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical/problem resolution skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated and a self-starter
Performs well under pressure.
Quick learner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
