The Team

The Omnichannel Development, Controlling & Business Operations department formalizes the omnichannel strategy, drives the development of associated business processes & consumer services as well as leads their operational implementation. The department is also in charge of evaluating the financial performance of the omnichannel business.

Specifically, the Omnichannel Finance and Controlling team supports the department in reaching their targets by managing the short, medium and long term planning, control and analytical cycles. Their mission is to deliver high quality planning and insightful analysis that boost the organizations efficiency, effectiveness and overall performance. With an Omnichannel focus, their work touches all channels (full price, outlet, e-commerce and concessions) across 27 European markets. The team uses a wide range of tools to provide this support.

The Position

The Business Analyst Omnichannel position reports into the Senior Manager Omnichannel Controlling and will be responsible for the controlling teams (a team of four) serving the e-commerce and the central retail department unified as the Omnichannel Hub.

Key Responsabilities:

• Sparring partner towards the VPs and directors within the Omnichannel department regarding their financial planning

• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting OPEX, headcount and CAPEX for the Omnichannel department

• Responsible for the monthly closing of actuals in OPEX, headcount and CAPEX for Omnichannel in order to explain variance analysis to senior stakeholders

• Have both a financial and commercial mindset in supporting the assessment of new and refit store proposals fitting in the strategic orientation of Omnichannel

• Supporting on business analysis and presentations for management

• Driving projects to improve omnichannel alignment, cost savings and efficiencies

The Ideal Candidate:

• University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Controlling

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Financial Systems or a related area

• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and deal with time pressure

• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while looking for ways to improve current processes

• Ambitious, motivated to go the extra mile and able to perform in a demanding work environment

• Strong team player with excellent social and communication skills

• Flexible; comfortable working in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment

• Highly motivated/driven/proactive approach to business needs.

• Strong attention to detail
