Humana is seeking a Senior Portfolio Management Professional who thrives on collaborating with others to solve problems and implement new ways of working. As a key member of the Associate Technology Experience (ATX) team, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive strategic value by establishing lean portfolio and financial management principles in a fast-moving, agile environment. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of products focused on improving the technology experience across all teams, thereby enabling them to do their best work in serving Humana's customers.
Responsibilities
The Senior Portfolio Management Professional organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, current business needs, and available/planned budget. This role will manage long term planning as well as day-to-day tracking of a portfolio designed to enhance the experience of Humana associates as they use technology to do their best work. Additionally, there will be a strong focus on financial management to ensure timely and accurate funding of critical initiatives. This position will operate in a highly matrixed environment and will need to develop and deepen relationships with numerous stakeholders across the Humana enterprise.
Monitors/Manages the Associate Technology Experience Team (ATX) strategic portfolio with responsibilities specifically for organization, prioritization, reporting, and financial management.
Responsible for working with all ATX, Technology Strategy, Operations and Enterprise Capabilities (TechStrat) team and Product team stakeholders to understand the current state of the portfolio, and track and report status on a regular basis.
Maintains Investment financials for current budget year as well as communicates operating impacts to future year financials to Senior Leadership and IT Finance partners.
Assists with implementation and practice of Lean Portfolio Management principles to ensure value streams and products are aligned with ATX, TechStrat and Humana strategy, and that funding is managed to value streams with appropriate guardrails in place.
Required Qualifications
5 years of requisite work experience with progressive responsibility.
A strong project / program management background with additional experience vetting and setting strategy that aligns to the larger strategic goals of the organization.
Highly experienced with IT project/program budget planning, management, tracking and reporting.
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
Ability to synthesize complex information and tailor communication of it to a wide variety of audiences.
A demonstrated ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization using negotiating, influencing, and change management skills.
Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs, and gain their co-ownership of outcomes.
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's, MBA or other Advanced Degree.
PMP and/or Agile certifications including SAFe.
Lean Portfolio Management certification and/or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM.
Possess a solid understanding of IT operations, technology, communications, and processes.
Experience with writing and implementing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Experience in problem analysis and process.
