Position Summary

Under Armour’s Treasury Department is looking to hire a Senior Treasury Analyst with responsibility for FX hedging, risk management and capital markets activities. This position is based in Baltimore, Maryland (remote candidates will be considered) and reports to the Senior Manager, Global Risk Management & Capital Markets. This position will work closely with internal departments, including Tax, FP&A, Accounting, and international teammates, as well as external banking partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and be comfortable working independently or in collaboration with stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


For balance sheet and cash flow hedging programs, identify and quantify FX exposures, determine appropriate hedges based on policy, execute trades and communicate FX settlement instructions to banks
Prepare hedge accounting documentation and month-end journal entries
Review and present FX hedging results and capital market updates to senior management
Execute FX spot trades to meet global liquidity needs
Standardize and automate processes related to FX trading and reporting
Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including 10-Q and 10-K disclosures
Assist with financing activities including borrowing decisions, competitor benchmarking, and working capital solutions
Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal on strategic initiatives
Work closely with Under Armour’s credit banks
Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Knowledge of FX hedging and/or credit markets

Knowledge of hedge accounting concepts

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Curiosity and strong desire to learn about foreign exchange and capital markets

Effective communicator who is comfortable communicating across functions and job levels

Demonstrated market acumen in identifying market risks and mitigation strategies

Education And / Or Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Preferred 2 years of Treasury experience in a multinational corporate or bank setting


Other Requirements


Experience with Treasury systems such as Reval, ChathamDirect, and FXall
Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or Refinitiv Eikon
CTP, CPA, or CFA preferred
