POSITION SUMMARY:

Part of a finance team imbedded in PVH Supply, acting as a partner to and work with:

  • PVH Supply Divisional, Human Resources Leaders in the US, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, India and other Asia and Africa locations

    Primary Roles:

  • Accounting, Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting of Operating Expenses (dollars & heads)
  • Division and Corporate Liaison re: Financial & Accounting Guidance, Calendar Adherence, Expense Policies, Allocations and Special Projects
  • Financial analysis and modeling supporting PVH Supply initiatives

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in preparation of PVH Supply preliminary and final annual budget and 3 year plan (cost and headcount) process:
    • Meet with PVH Supply Finance, Divisional and Human Resources in the US, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, India, and other Asia and Africa locations to obtain updated assumptions for headcount and operating expenses
    • Assist in consolidating the results for components of PVH Supply
    • Prepare budget variance analysis for Headcount and Operating Expenses vs Actual, Prior Year, and Plan years
    • Reporting by Type of Expense, Division/Function, Location and Direct/Indirect
    • Upload assumptions for headcount and operating expenses into Essbase
    • Prepare Offshore Allocations of the costs of PVH Supply to the Divisions:
      • Accumulate Divisional Headcount and Operating Expenses
      • Prepare bridges of Headcount and Operating Expenses
      • Assist in assembling Global FOB
      • Assist in allocating costs to the Divisions
  • Assist with timely and accurate monthly forecast, reporting and variance analysis:
    • Meet with PVH Supply Finance, Divisional and Human Resources in the US, Hong Kong, India and other Asia and Africa locations to obtain updated assumptions for headcount and operating expenses
    • Assist in consolidating the results for components of PVH Supply
    • Reporting by Type of Expense, Division/Function, Location and Direct/Indirect
    • Timely and accurate review of results for completeness, accuracy and proper classification, variance analysis, and reporting to management
    • Manage the flow of data between Corporate and PVH Supply components
    • Ad Hoc analysis as assigned
  • Assist in timely and accurate period end close:
    • Review month end actuals and determine which accruals still need booking based on Forecast and Budget
    • Prepare and manage monthly accrual back up in accordance with statutory and GAAP
    • Liaise with accounting team for posting journal entries
  • Assist Director and Vice President of Finance – PVH Supply with special projects supporting Divisional or Corporate initiatives
  • Participate in Cost Management Initiatives via Reorganizations, Consolidations, Restructurings, Expense Control, and process improvement
  • Develop calendars and process steps to manage work and ensure submission deadlines established by Corporate are met
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional team at varying levels
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned.

  • Reasonable overtime might be required for key financial processes such as month-end/year-end close; budgets, etc.
  • Communication with International PVH Supply Finance may require early morning or late night conference calls.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with a medium-sized company or above
  • Degree holders in accounting or relevant disciplines; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus but not required

Skills:

  • Strong MS Office skills especially Excel;
  • Adequate knowledge in SAP; Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Team player;
  • Detail and Result-oriented;
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting;
  • Basic knowledge of Internal Controls
