Description

The Intern - General 2 performs duties in field of study or profession. The Intern - General 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Market Finance intern that will be responsible for:


Administrative task involving reconciliations
Variance analysis within markets profit and loss statements
Reporting development and automation


By the completion of the internship, the student can expect to have:


Basic understanding of the Health Plans P&L
Aligning technical skills to develop observations
Technical skill set / Excel/ SQL etc.


Required Qualifications


Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with focus on finance, accounting or business-related degree
Basic MS Excel skills
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications


Have a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired
Be actively involved on-campus and/or in the community
Possess an interest in working in the healthcare industry
