The PositionThe head of Global Operating Expense is a critical position that is responsible for one of the largest P&L drivers at Logitech. In this role you will report directly to the Head of global FP&A with direct oversite for relatively large finance team. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of financial processes, systems, and rhythms you will be directly responsible for developing a cohesive, cross functional, companywide operating expense management strategy that supports key initiatives, investments, and process enhancements to deliver financial results. Processes improvement through simplification, standardized reporting, and improved planning tools is a must, as we are looking to create scalable results that drive decision making during periods of both growth and decline. The successful candidate with be a partner with the business and will strive to always bring insights that create value.Responsibilities also include oversight of quarterly accounting close, coordination with controllership, and compliance with applicable policies and standards.Demonstrated skillsets and experience to be successful in this role includes:Strong modeling skill set focused on investment strategy and prioritizationAbility to standardize and scale processes globallyAbility to manage projects and implement reporting tools such as dashboards and predictiveinsightsMotivational leader with good communication skills, and ability to execute on a visionBuild and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teamsCollaborate with peer finance leaders to identify best practice solutions to business developmentsStrong time management skill set, with a focus on results, and achieving milestonesTakes initiative and has a continuous improvement and growth mindsetAbility to connect the dots and influence decision makers, balance between short term and longerterm thinkingThe ideal candidate will have:10 years of FP&A and or Business Finance, in complex, publicly held, global Hardware/Systemstechnology environmentsHighly disciplined and process-oriented with excellent executive communication and presenceProven track record of guiding and growing world-class organizations, ensuring the business isbest structured and positioned to achieve its short and long-term goalsSolid business acumen and judgmentSound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret dataSelf-motivated and goal orientedTactful, exercises independent judgment and discretionExcellent written/oral communication & presentation skillsAbility to function well in high-energy business environmentsLogitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it.
