Job Summary: This position is responsible for inventory control with respect to analysis functions, reporting and adjustments to reflect accurate stock ledger balances for inventory carrying business units. 

 

Responsibilities:

*Execute, update and/or create regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external use, with a strong focus on analytics and product escalation. Provide data analysis and projections as required.  *Monitor inventory transactions, transfer cost variances, and other similar transactions which impact the carrying value of inventory.  Complete financial adjustments as directed *Monitor, initiate adjustments, provide analysis and reporting, as request by one-up manager, in order to reflect timely and accurate inventory valuation within the company's financial records. *Respond to, investigate and resolve incoming issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner *Complete account reconciliations related to inventory and other assigned account(s) according to set timelines *Assist with special projects as assigned, which may include project-related business development and analysis to support new corporate or accounting initiatives *Follow published policies related to health and safety guidelines specific to the workplace as provided by senior management. Promote health and safety within the workplace.  Report any potential problems or unsafe situations to supervisor and/or senior management *Perform all other duties as assigned.
 

Skills and Abilities:

*Must be detail oriented and possess strong time management, and organizational skills. *Effective written and oral communication skills are essential.  *Flexibility and adaptability are definite assets. *Must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills. *The ability to work with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines is imperative.
Education:

*Education training details (if applicable)  2-3 year degree, experience, or equivalent training.  Preference given to individual working towards CPA designation or equivalent working experience is preferred
Experience: 1 year to < 3 years
