Aon is looking for an Analyst, Transaction Solutions, Aon M&A Advisors and Transaction Solutions (AMATS). Toronto, flexible remote. Job DescriptionThe Transaction Solutions team of AMATS in Canada focuses on brokerage of transaction liability insurance products (e.g., Representations & Warranties, Tax, Litigation and other Contingent risks), largely in the context of M&A transactions. We are looking for an entry-level Analyst to assist the senior members on the team, track and analyze data, and ultimately serve in a junior broker capacity. This is a high energy team, closing in excess of 100 transactions annually. Roles and Responsibilities:Support senior brokers on day-to-day deal tasks (invoicing, NDA's, NRL's, submissions) and other long-term projectsPrepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetingsManage group’s pipeline and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial reportsComplete ad-hoc business development projectsConduct benchmarking and track economic and market developmentsUtilize internal and external sources for client and industry researchSkills Required:0-3 years of work experience at Aon with knowledge of Aon systems and proceduresBachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, or related subject areaAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyProject management fieldDetail orientation, but ability to draw conclusions and see big pictureStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to build confidence of others (both internally and externally) based upon work performedWord, Excel, Power PointStrong Analytical skills and ability to work with large data setsPreferred Experience:Broker’s license or willingness to obtainEducation:BA/BS Degree required We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
