The Service Fund Value Based Specialists team at Humana is looking for an experienced individual in financial analytics that will be working with large volume datasets and applying their ability to take action with data-driven results. This individual will work with internal and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and financial transactions are executed with high accuracy. Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analytics Professional collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends. Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques. May possess financial or actuarial background. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
5 years data analytics and reporting experience
5 years developing SQL queries
Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
Advanced Excel Skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Must be able to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques
Experience working with moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must be U.S. Citizen or Greencard holder to be considered for this position

Financial or actuarial background
Healthcare knowledge/experience
Data Visualization (Tableau, Power BI)


Work at Home/Remote Requirements


Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite, wireless and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
