Job Summary:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our client who is well-established food manufacturing company on a part-time basis. As a Financial Accountant, you will provide support to the Financial Controller in various finance-related areas. This role offers the opportunity for remote work 1 day per week. The position reports directly to the Financial Controller and is part of a dynamic finance function in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including stock valuations and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
Generate key reports to assist in financial decision-making.
Prepare and file VAT and Intra stat returns for Ireland and UK, as well as other statutory returns.
Compile year-end audit files.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate pricing points for revenue and margin optimization.
Conduct monthly/bi-monthly costing reviews.
Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experiences:
Qualified or Part-Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Working Hours:
This part-time role offers flexibility with 24 hours spread over 3 or 4 days. One of these days can be worked remotely from home.
