Our 50,000 colleagues in 120 countries empower results for clients by using proprietary data and analytics to deliver insights that reduce volatility and improve performance. Aon is an equal opportunities employer.  Aon's recruitment and selection policy ensures the best possible skill mix of colleagues and the highest quality candidates are appointed using objective job-related criteria. About the Role Your impact as a Global Head of Performance & Rewards:Leading the global strategy, design, implementation, communication, and overall management of the competitive broad-based total rewards programs in support of the firm’s strategy, and for the right candidate, leading the executive compensation and equity areas as well;Leading the annual performance process and driving continuous improvement in line with business objectives and evolving external practices;Leader the annual compensation cycle process including principles, budget adherence, pool allocation, equitable review and performance alignment, leader and colleague communication, and technology and data dependencies;Regularly reviewing the broad-based compensation programs including base salary, annual incentive, project-based incentives, and long-term incentives. Leading and conducting pay equity analysis on a regular basis, addressing gaps and ensuring equitable pay practices and outcomes;Serving as an internal consultant to leadership on strategic planning across total rewards considerations in organizational design, succession/leadership transitions, cost efficiencies, and M&A diligence;Evolving and aligning health, financial, security, and life event benefits and programs to maintain competitiveness, handling costs, supporting inclusion, and enhancing colleague wellbeing;Proactively engaging with partners in the Health, Wealth and Human Capital solution lines to collaborate on application of the latest innovations and our internal capabilities to achieve People Organization goals and support development of the commercial offerings;Actively monitoring executive compensation developments, evaluating implications, and handling equity programs, including share utilization, stock plan administration and plan compliance;With a focus on continuous improvement, infusing rigor and process into the total rewards function to enable standard methodologies across the organization; ensuring that people, processes, and resources are organized in a manner aligned to strategically meeting current and future business goals;Partnering with key stakeholders, including the executive leadership team, corporate functions and peers within People Organization to ensure optimal solutions and client service. Serve as both a consultative and technical resource to these partners;Leading, developing and coaching the total rewards team and handle the Total Rewards budget;Ensuring the firm’s compliance from a government and regulatory perspective, with adherence to federal, state and relevant international, compensation, benefits and tax laws;About you Your knowledge and expertise:Developed subject matter expertise in total rewards, including performance management, compensation, benefits, M&A, executive compensation and governance (as applicable), and HRIS systems, with an ability to demonstrate this knowledge to gain instant credibility;Worked in or led the total rewards function of a Fortune 500 or large multinational organization with similar size and complexity to Aon. Experience in financial services or professional services is preferred;Effectively navigated a global environment, with an understanding of how different geographies and their respective laws and nuances can influence total rewards programs;Created, developed, and implemented employee compensation strategies for efficient and cost-effective management of allocated resources, linked to over-arching strategic goals for the firm;Partnered directly with C-level leaders;Track record of effective team leadership and development, including mentoring and developing key and diverse talent;Understands the balance between excellence versus precision; strives for excellent results with consistent improvement as opposed to waiting for perfection the first time;An inspirational servant leader, leading by example through times of organizational transformation;Impeccable communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Quickly forms effective working relationships with colleagues and management;A strong leader of people, elevates their team and themselves by encouraging ongoing learning and curiosity.
