Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Value-Based Programs decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.


Will manage a team of 6 associates
Leads the strategic development and implementation of operations, contract negotiations support, and cross functional departmental leadership regarding Value-Based Programs within the Commercial segment
Collaborates with the Commercial leadership and market teams to ensure the resolution of the development, expansion, and overall success of Humana's Commercial value-based portfolio
Assists in defining and facilitating multiyear strategy and execution of Commercial value-based programs
Manages new risk and upside contracts, inclusive of contracting support, as well as operationalizing and administering these new contracts
Partners to create new innovation programs within the Commercial space and provide contracting support and full administration of those contracts


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care or a related field
5 years of experience in Value-Based provider relationships
5 years of experience in Contracting, Analytics and/or Finance
2 years of direct or indirect leadership experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field
Experience working with providers directly
Experience developing or administering Commercial healthcare payment models
