Aon is looking for an FIN AnalystJob Description Summary: We are looking for a FIN Analyst in our Fort Washington, PA office! As part of an industry-leading team, you will assist with carrier payment analysis for proper payment and reconciliations, supporting carrier audits, as well as analyze and implement additional changes and efficiencies within the accounting operations team, reporting to the Accounting Ops Manager.Job Responsibilities: Weekly and monthly carrier payable reportingResponsible for carrier payable analysis and co-ordination and resolution of issuesPoint person for internal and external contacts in global regional offices as related to carrier relationshipsWork within the accounting operations team to improve processes by having a thorough understanding of all processes and then elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysisRefund analysis and reconciliationCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-levelUtilize analytical tools to identify opportunities for cost savings / efficiency improvementOther responsibilities and enterprise duties as assignedYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:2 - 4 years related experienceThe position requires a self-starter and independent individual, with ability to work in a deadline driven environmentStrong communication skills with all levels of management and is comfortable presenting to business leaders and colleagues internal and externalExcellent verbal skills requiredStrong Customer Service focusAbility to assist and influence othersAdvanced Excel, PowerPoint and database analyticsIndividual will have a thorough understanding of Excel pivot tables, V-lookups, graphs, functions, links as well as working with external dataEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Math preferred We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
