Preference for this candidate is to be based out of our Dallas, TX office.  Your Impact As A Health Solutions Senior Vice President – Actuary  Advance your Actuarial career with Aon! Engaging teams, deep subject matter experts and rewarding projects describe our appealing culture.  With Aon’s people, rewards, knowledge sharing, individual contribution and work life balance - an actuarial career at Aon adds up.   Job Responsibilities:Provide actuarial leadership to local office by mentoring and leveraging work to less experienced actuariesServe as lead actuary on our largest and most complex client teams, leading actuarial projects and client relationships, working closely with Account ExecutivesInfluence clients' overall strategic and financial direction in benefits; frame results in the context of the marketplaceParticipate in new business opportunitiesLead and/or participate in national Analytics initiatives, driving adoption in Texas marketsProject savings/costs related to health benefits and applicable changesReview health care budgets and contribution settingMake statements of actuarial opinion and lead analysis behind them; directly responsible for all actuarial deliverablesCommunicate actuarial results to clients; lead all financial meetings, explaining actuarial results and potential alternativesAssist in benchmarking discussions with clients, including strategy evolution as a result of benchmarking dataPerform IBNP reserve developmentReview models to evaluate cost-saving scenariosSeek and provide peer review to ensure high quality client deliverablesYou Bring Knowledge and Expertise  Required Experience:FSA/ASA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or Associate of the Society of Actuaries) designation requiredHealth and welfare consulting experience: 12 years of industry experience (carrier or health care consulting)Project/client/financial management experienceBroad business knowledge/perspectiveBusiness development experience, including competitor and market knowledge a plusAdditional formal or informal responsibilities will include: People management or mentoring Education:Bachelor’s degree How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
