Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Staff Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Financial Enablement team supporting the Finance & Accounting teams.
The ideal candidate should be a self starter,have a solid analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal communications, diligent time management skills, be team-oriented and have a strong work ethic
. Lastly you work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints. This role is expected to contribute to ERP implementation to scale the future growth while supporting existing Netsuite applications.
Who?
8 years of hands on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle acting as an SME
providing strategic direction deploying innovative, simple, holistic, technology solutions to solve complex business problems and automate processes in the
ERP modules - including procure-to-pay (purchasing, receiving, accounts payable), order-to-cash (invoicing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition), Consolidations and record-to-report (general ledger, fixed assets, multibook and billing)
Experience with subscription models, and recurring billing systems and strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures is preferred
Experience in developing key controls for SOX Compliance and efficiently supporting Audits and controls
Experience in implementing and supporting global finance solutions with exposure to the country specific localizations of EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions
Experience in integrating ERP systems with banks
Technical expertise in managing business systems in a high-volume environment is a plus
Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and implementing ways to improve system performance.
Assist in cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document and analyze business requirements and functional specifications. Includes identifying unspoken or conflicting requirements and challenging the norm
Experience in building and demonstrating prototypes, conducting training sessions, creating test plans/scripts, use cases and facilitating user testing
Experience driving end - end ERP implementations and Acquisitions providing product direction to meet customer needs
5 years experience in leading the delivery of complex 3rd party software implementation projects , Cross functional initiatives and programs across financial disciplines in an Agile environment.
Solid communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate your point of view.
Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance - be an owner.
Experience with the following systems is a plus; Avalara/other tax software, ERP(NetSuite), SAP S4HANA or Oracle ERP Cloud, Coupa, Anaplan, Tableau, Looker, ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce.com, OKTA, G Suite
Experience working with a distributed team across time zones

BE AN OWNER
Define the long-term strategy & automation for ERP systems.
You own the process of driving the organization to best practises using strong Functional and Influential skills communicating to senior executives and communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
Partner with business units, lead or assist in all aspects of systems integrations, including strategy formation, developing business cases, audit compliance and system maintenance
WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES
Partner with Finance leadership, Accounting, Procurement leaders, and other PMs to ensure they have the right information to engage with the central team and ensure happy customers.
Proactively identify and clearly communicate messages and updates regarding blockers, dependencies, risks, and current status to all stakeholders
RUTHLESSLY PRIORITIZE
Maintain laser focus on MVPs, iterative product development, and releasing immediate/tangible value to stakeholders and adjust frequently.
Demonstrate strong prioritization skills with multitasking and competing priorities and know how to make the right trade-offs
DRAW THE OWL
Identify opportunities for operational improvements across Finance & Accounting business applications and drive solution definition.
Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of completed projects.
WRITE IT DOWN
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication - ensure that complex ideas, thoughts, and vision can be communicated simply and effectively. You are expected to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.
Salary:
Denver/Boulder:
$120,000 - $160,000
Remote-Colorado:
$105,000 - $140,000
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
