Aon is looking for a Head of Responsible Investing (RI) for North America  Responsibilities: Leading AIUSA’s views, approach, and overall strategy as it relates to Responsible Investing for institutional investment programs. Responsible Investing for AIUSA includes socially responsible investing, environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration, impact investing, mission-related investing, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)Researching and consulting on a variety of RI strategies, including but not limited to the integration of ESG factors into the investment process, active ownership, impact investing, socially responsible investing, divestment strategies, decarbonization, DEI approaches, and investment policy development Identification of RI megatrends, with a particular focus on ESG megatrends, and their impact on investments and markets Drive thought leadership on RI topics by leading the development of AIUSA’s perspectives and viewpoints on various RI related topicsClose alignment and coordination with Aon’s Global Investment Manager Research Team, advising and collaborating on Aon’s approach and investment beliefs as it relates to RI activity and initiatives Educating and effectively communicating to a variety of constituents on the array of RI strategies, including internal, external and client stakeholders. Act as a primary contact with external stakeholders, including clients, prospects and the mediaAssessment of compliance with applicable regulatory regimes and disclosure requirementsLeading industry collaboration through participation in industry groups and organizations (on behalf of Aon) aimed at promoting ESG and DEI(examples might include Institutional Investor Diversity Cooperative (IIIDC) and the Investment Consultants Sustainability Working Group). Provide recommendations for AIUSA on the most relevant and impactful types of participationManage participation in industry surveys and sharing data related to RI and DEI Participate and/or lead client and prospective client meetings, discussions and education sessions Liaise and work effectively with senior leaders of Aon globally outside of Aon Investments to coordinate ESG and DEI efforts, and connect corporate initiatives and goals back to AIUSAAssist with marketing and business development efforts where needed including RFP responses and developing marketing materials related to AIUSA’s RI efforts  Qualifications:  Subject matter expert on ESG, carbon accounting, decarbonization pathways, DE&I, disclosures, and/or sustainable investingFamiliarity and experience with a number of disclosure and regulatory regimes included, but not limited to the DOL, SEC, SASB, ISSB, IFRS, TCFD, CDP, EU Taxonomy, etc.Deep understanding and subject matter expertise in key areas related to climate change issuesPublic policy awareness related to ESG, climate change and/or sustainabilityResearch skills including, but not limited to, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data aggregation and surveying capabilities and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
