Job Summary:
The primary function of this position is to provide leadership with financial analysis, variance analysis, per pupil expenditure analysis, and ad-hoc analysis. Analyze accounting transactions and balances to ensure that transactions are properly recorded and comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Education and other regulatory agencies and in support of the District’s mission. This position will also be responsible for identifying and communicating programmatic and systematic inefficiencies to the CFO, Controller, and Information Technology and assist in improving those areas in a timely and effective manner. In addition, a significant portion of the position will involve various forms of systematic implementation throughout the district to effectively interface with the district’s Enterprise Resource Planning System.
Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
A minimum of three years of accounting related experience (governmental accounting preferred).
Highly Qualified candidates for this position will possess:
Certified Public Accountant in good standing
Master’s Degree of Accountancy, Finance, or Information Systems
Experience writing queries and reports

Salary Range for this position:
$67,954 - $81,245
This represents the minimum to mid-point of the salary range. Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.
