The Finance Analyst is responsible for activities related to accounting and costing.
This role requires organization, accounting knowledge, sense of priority and critical thinking. The role will also have to support the intern of the team.
The activities of the Finance Analyst cover:
Costing of the imported inventory;
Standard cost calculation support;
Monthly costing analysis in USGAAP and Statutory GAAP;
Bank reconciliation;
Accenture team R2R process monitoring and support;
Reconciliations analysis, support and pending items follow up;
SOX and Internal controls related to R2R;
Accrual report analysis;
Fixed Assets capitalization;
Intercompany balance analysis;
Tax on imported services accruals;
Accounting monthly closing activities
Detailed position responsibilities:
Guarantee the correct costing of the importations of the company, being in contact with Logistic, Custom and Tax Team in order to align the process and information flow;
Ensure the importation costings are properly booked and the Intercompany payable balance is correct;
Prepare reports to analyze the Inventory map and the correct Material Ledger process;
Analyze monthly the accruals generated according to the Purchase Orders (POs) information, and contact the requestors to clarify issues and provide the best estimation;
Prepare the Fixed Assets capitalization template, monitoring monthly the Assets under construction balance, and contacting the departments responsible for the CARs in order to properly fill the information to be uploaded in SAP system;
Calculate and book the tax on imported services accruals;
Monitor the bank reconciliation and guarantee the accounts are in line with the bank accounts balance;
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Business or related;
Ability to lead with different subjects, being organized and having strong sense of urgency and accountability;
Strong communication skills to support and engage stakeholders;
Experience in working with SAP
