Description

The Portfolio Management Professional 2 collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Portfolio Management Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) aligns with and delivers on our IT Strategy by driving agility and delivering greater business value through timely technology adoption with a focus on ability to stay current and assess status within the lifecycle of vendor supplied third party technology, including Cloud providers.

The Technical Portfolio Manager organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

This role will support technology lifecycle management by providing transparency into technology related data and roadmaps, as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting on technology lifecycle initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:


Develop and maintain variety of TLM report types to provide clear visibility into metrics pertaining to asset end of life, security vulnerabilities, and aging hardware
Raise awareness and provide guidance to TLM team for potential reporting automation opportunities
Ensure metrics and scorecards identify level of lifecycle policy compliance
Design, maintain, and publish technology lifecycle roadmaps encompassing a 36 month rolling depiction of planned updates or conversions
Monitor status for inflight lifecycle initiatives to ensure successful sunset completion


Required Qualifications :


Strong analytics and report writing experience that defines clear measures and tell a story
Highly proficient in Excel, and other data analytics tools such as Power BI and Qlikview
Motivated self-starter and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure to meet compressed deadlines


Preferred Qualifications :


Bachelor's degree, or minimum of 2 years of related experience
Experience with technology lifecycle and asset portfolio management
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, ITBM PPM module, and/or Orbus iServer


Reporting Relationship:


This position will report to the Director of Technology Lifecycle Management


Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.

Provide proof of full vaccination, including booster OR
Provide proof of applicable exemption including any required supporting documentation
