Person in the role will:
Partner closely with Vice President of US Cardiovascular & Established Brands
Be member of US CV leadership team as well as US Finance leadership team
Lead and develop strong team of finance professionals
Monitor business performance, challenge results and develop recommendations to improve financial performance
Provide financial analysis and guidance on business activities, targets and business drivers
Lead development of financial plans including projections and budgets
Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with business partners and involved functions (brand marketing, medical, sales, BI&A, Value Access & Pricing,…).
Provide key input into pricing and contracting decisions
Drive creation of realistic forecasts and challenge assumptions as appropriate.
Partner with business unit leadership and promote fact based resource allocation decisions
Provide transparency and insights around gross to nets (GTNs)
US Finance lead of multi-billion alliance with another large pharma company
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and robust experience in internal controls
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong financial planning and analysis background and extensive experience with business planning cycle, budgeting process, demand forecasting, and profitability analysis
Solid understanding of commercial business models
Developmental Value
P&L ownership of major US business unit
Frequent exposure to top business and finance leaders
Drive business decisions and financial results
Obtain deep understanding of alliance management
