Position Summary
This Digital Finance Transformation (DFT) Manager position is responsible for all aspects of Program Management across all functions within Finance and Accounting. The Digital Finance Transformation goal is to evolve our current business practices by driving optimization and building new capabilities across our processes, tools, and people. The role works cross-functionally with business partners in Finance and Accounting and throughout the company to prioritize and drive a pipeline of projects related to transforming our systems, processes, and procedures to support the company's strategic objectives. This role is expected to leverage effective communication and influencing skills, strategic thinking, and a high degree of accountability to translate complex requirements to solutions combined with a passion to learn and develop organizations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for overall Digital Finance Transformation Program Management – establishing program governance model, managing key milestones and timelines, managing projects status and progress, quantifying the benefits, assessing risks, facilitating internal/external meetings, and working with teams to lead and drive forward current projects to ensure deliverables are met.
Accountable for tracking the financials related to all projects and the overall program, including the benefits for each project.
Develop and implement the Change Management and Communication strategies to mobilize the organization and partner with process owners to evolve current business practices.
Collaborate with DFT Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) to identify opportunities to automate processes (both Robotics/RPA and automated dashboards) and establish the governance model to drive execution and benefits tracking in alignment with the broader DFT roadmap.
Collaborate with DFT Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) to identify opportunities to implement a data driven approach to enable better decision making through the development of dashboards and data visualization tools.
Develops and implements Digital Finance Transformation training program for broader Finance and Accounting team in partnership with the Learning & Development team.
Collaborate with external consultant and partner with cross-functional teams including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Strategic Procurement, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivables & Payables, Financial Reporting and Internal Audit to develop and manage overall Transformation roadmap.
Keeps abreast of industry best practices, monitor competitive and market trends to drive new features and innovative digital solutions.
Creates external partnerships to continuously learn, engage, pilot and deploy emerging technology solutions in agreed upon Finance and Accounting focus areas.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Strong Program Management skills and experience driving large and complex initiatives across the enterprise level.
Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational structures and build credibility with internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing complexities of competing priorities and program inter-dependencies.
Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen; experience implementing financial processes and systems with an ability to discriminate between symptoms and root causes.
Excellent facilitator capable of influencing people over which he / she has no authority.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Must be able to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks.
Proven record of high performance and excellent leadership skills.
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related fiel with 5 Years of experience.
3 years of experience working in large, matrixed organization.
2 years of focused experience in Business Process Re-engineering, Standardization and Continuous Improvement.
Other Requirements
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
Work-Life Integration Designation: 1 day a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
