What you'll do:
• Provides pre-closing and closing support and helps oversee multiple data and technology teams supporting client receivership and resolution of failed banks.
• Responsible for overseeing the financial institution’s data processing activities, internal network operations and systems infrastructure during the closing.
• Provides quality oversight over team deliverables, manage resources and team performance, and support overall project administrative functions.

Our Operations Transformation team focuses on transforming our clients’ core business operations. We advise, design, implement, and deploy solutions focused on “heart of the business” issues in specific sectors including Health Care, Banking & Securities, Insurance, and Energy & Resources. The type of work we provide to our clients includes Operations Excellence, Payment & Care Model Innovation and Emerging Business Models.
Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to create a flexible, innovative business model supported by a strong operations foundation. Professionals will use their deep sector knowledge and technical business operations consulting experience to take a more strategic view of our clients’ priorities, helping them to prepare for growth, embrace the digital agenda and maximize operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of time to client site/office
• 6 years of experience managing data processing or IT operations in the financial services industry.
• 3 years of experience supporting complex IT infrastructure including various hardware and software components, such as high capacity servers, printer/scanners, imaging systems, optical media devices, web servers and Windows/Mac operating systems.
• Experience managing project teams of 5 or more people working on IT projects in the financial services industry.
• Advanced project management skills including developing project plans and successfully leading project teams from initiation thru completion.
• Knowledge of financial operations, and procedures involved in entering, modifying and correcting information in a computerized system to assure accuracy.
• Ability to develop, analyze and advise on improved methods to increase use of automated work procedures.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• General knowledge of data processing in a financial institution to assist with system shutdown, control and security at the closing of a failed financial institution.
• Skills in the maintenance of in-house inventory of IT equipment and software and inhouse files and records both automated and paper.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in order to train personnel and gain cooperation of others.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.
• Strong background in financial services and strong communication skills required to be able to interact with client and providers
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
