Winston & Strawn is looking for a junior to mid-level associate to join its investment funds/investment management practice group, which is a fast-growing practice within the firm. Specifically, we are looking for an associate who has a strong interest in working with private investment funds, such as venture capital funds, cryptocurrency/digital asset funds, private equity funds and hedge funds. The ideal candidate will have (i) at least 1-2 years of fund formation experience, which would include drafting private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, subscription booklets and related ancillary documents, as well as preparing and filing Form ADVs and Form Ds, and (ii) a working knowledge of the relevant securities laws and regulations. An intellectual curiosity with respect to new and innovative developments and structures, particularly in the blockchain and digital asset space, is a definite plus. Candidates for all offices will be considered. All candidates should be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.
