The purpose of this position is to support operational aspects, financial close, analysis, budgeting and forecasting of clinical trials within newly integrated R&ED Portfolio of approximately $400M. The individual in this role will take on responsibility for early phase solid tumor and hematology assets. Additionally, the selected candidate will support integration of multiple platforms/systems and processes in support of recent Celgene acquisition. Finally, successful candidate will support Project Management and Development Teams with asset analysis needed for Governance meetings and day-to-day questions and requests.

Responsibilities:


Responsible for financial support of certain early phase solid tumor and hematology assets

Support quarterly accounting review for studies

Responsible to achieve financial goals and elevate issues proactively, timely, and transparently

Support integration of multiple platforms/systems and processes and lead improvements in a way we generate data for analysis

Financial support and management of cost sharing collaborations with other pharmaceutical partners, as applicable

Contribute to creation of a high performance culture through effective leadership and communication with key stakeholders in the organization

Articulate a vision for the function and communicate a supporting strategy with clarity, force and impact to align people, critical resources, management and stakeholders

Support and lead change that continuously adapts to a dynamic business environment

Learn from experience and apply those learnings to enhance performance

Business-partnering with various Project Management and Development Team members and leading preparation for Governance meetings


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA or MBA preferred

Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in finance or accounting

Strong financial and analytical skills as well as excellent business-partnering abilities required

Strong working knowledge of ECLIPSE and other financial / CTMS systems is preferred

Effective communication skills, strong oral and written communications a must

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, customer focused and able to make decisions independently

Collaboration experience, inside and outside of finance is desirable

Experience working with multiple levels of management with competing demands on time and resources
