The Category Operations Product Manager leads and executes Enterprise launches of new products and categories (inclusive of new vendors) to produce the best customer experiences and go-to-market outcomes for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. This is done through operational leadership, expertise and support providing options on key decisions. The COPM plays a vital role ensuring all stakeholders are represented in each launch or promotion. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive plan that supports the Category Management strategy from Project Intake through Post Mortem.
The COPM attends regular business cadences to provide an operational lens to Category Management Weekly Business Action Planning meetings. They are considered a strong cross-functional partner and should be prepared to interact with business team members at all levels including but not limited to Category Management, eCommerce, Sales Enablement, D&T, Legal, Category Marketing, Fulfillment, Order Management, Offer Management, BBCC, Trade In, Creative Services. Insider Threat, Finance and other Operations Team peers. Some Vendor contact as needed.

The Health Category Operations Manager will support the Health Category Management Team in upstream strategic planning, specifically in determining feasibility and paths forward with related cross-functional partners (Legal, Risk, Compliance, D&T).
What will you do:
This role is accountable to documenting and organizing information related to launch planning and execution and interacting with the Category Operations-Process Design and Governance team to affect people, process and technology improvements and efficiencies within the Enterprise launch processes.
A successful Category Operations Manager builds effective working relationship with ability to influence and drive decisions at all levels, will have strong verbal and written communication skills, incredible follow up and excellent ability to prioritize and consistently deliver results.
Maintain a strong pulse on upcoming launches for the Enterprise as it pertains to products, categories and vendors.
Prepare for launch planning meetings, ensuring the right stakeholders have a seat at the table and supporting materials are sufficient to drive a world-class result
Execute launch planning and launch meetings.
Provide clear direction to cross functional members by creating a consistent approach within the product launch process by way of meeting cadences, tools and resources leveraged and recap expectations.
A successful candidate is:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excels at large meeting facilitation both in-person and virtually. Someone who has the ability to lead large cross-functional teams to an aligned outcome or goal. They are a collaborative team player. Able to multi-task and prioritize with the ability to leading multiple launches or promos simultaneously. They also have a high aptitude for: building strong relationships across disciplines, influencing and driving decisions at all levels, effectively communicating, adapting to evolving processes.

Basic Qualifications:
3 or more years of Business, Retail, Sales, Operations
2 or more years of retail supervisory or management experience
2 or more years of people or resource leadership experience
2 or more years of financial management experience with Profit and Loss responsibilities
1 or more years of project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2 or more years of vendor or external partner management
