Description
The Corporate Services Portfolio Management Lead collaborates with business portfolio teams to ensure that there is alignment between the required business capabilities and the IT Portfolio of work. The Corporate Services Portfolio Management Lead will lead a team of Product Owners and Project Managers to assist in defining the desired business outcomes and translating that into actionable IT work. The role will also have a focus on demand and portfolio reporting as it relates to business capabilities.
Responsibilities
The Portfolio Management Lead will be responsible for collaboration with partners, organizing and prioritizing capabilities and initiatives based on the business strategy and the strategic roadmap. The Portfolio Management Lead will also be responsible for prioritized budgets and ensure that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of business goals. This role advises executives to develop functional strategies (specific to the aligned partners) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
This Portfolio Management Lead will be aligned to the Enterprise Risk and Compliance organization, and will also be responsible for Enterprise Tools and Workflow Management, responsible for tools such as ServiceNow.
This team is in the early stages of a Project-to-Product transition, and familiarity with or experience managing in an Agile organization is a plus.
Additional responsibilities include:
Designing metrics and reports to measure portfolio health (financial, status, other)
Developing standards to be used across the team for portfolio management
Working with portfolio leaders within the IT team to ensure consistency in processes, methods, and data
Actively guiding prioritization processes across multiple teams
Advising IT leaders on demand and portfolio management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4 or more years of technical experience
4 or more years of project leadership experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
SAFe or other Agile certifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
