Job Description:

We’re searching for talented and high performing finance professionals with auditing expertise. This is the perfect role to push your career to the next level, with world-class learning, and opportunities to develop your professional skills.

Where you fit in

We’re looking for Finance Auditors, at both a senior and junior level, to join our world-class Shell Internal Audit (SIA) team, with a focus on providing independent assurance to the Audit Committee and Executive Committee across Shell. That means helping us assess and improve the design and operations of our risk management, control and governance processes.

Based at either the Shell Centre in London or in The Hague, Netherlands, you’ll get the chance to work with a diverse range of businesses, at the highest level and across the globe, as part of a powerful network of talented professionals from a range of disciplines. It’s what makes the SIA such a great environment to grow.

What’s the role?

As Finance Auditor, you can look forward to an exciting and challenging mix of responsibilities, as you play your part in achieving our audit mission. You can expect to both lead and contribute to delivering major elements of our audit programmes, using your expertise and judgement to provide independent and objective opinions on design and operations, always with an eye to meeting Shell’s business objectives.

A high performer, you’ll be confident assessing results to provide quality assurance, identifying issues and making recommendations. Plus, you’ll be as comfortable justifying your audit judgements, as you are handling any challenges on your evidence.

.

More specific responsibilities will include:

Managing a programme of interviews, data testing and verifications.
Providing expertise in your area of discipline to other audit team members.
Leading audit teams when nominated to do so by the audit manager.
Gathering relevant evidence to fully support audit conclusions reached.

Needless to say, you’ll also be a natural communicator and enthusiastic team member, who thrives on influencing at every level across the business, with a wide range of diverse, global stakeholders.
