**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. One Finance team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst – Retail. This SFA will play a critical role in partnering with key finance leaders to provide analytical support that defines strategic opportunities and enhances current operations.
This position will take an ownership role in providing finance support for key retail priorities and help leaders understand the financial implications of key company initiatives. The SFA will work closely with 4 Territory Finance Directors to help identify opportunities to improve results, create clarity on the drivers of performance, and translate results into forward
looking, actionable points of view.
Key Responsibilities/Attributes:
Technical Skills: Demonstrates a dependable level of skills / knowledge required for the job, including:
Analytical: Experience reviewing and analyzing data and sharing insights on key trends and changes in the business
Systems knowledge: MAPP, TM1, PAW/PAX, BOBJ, QlikView, etc.
Excel: Comfortable working with large amounts of data, writing formulas, spot checking and summarizing in clear, simple reporting
Ad-hoc Analysis: Ability to drive various types of analysis across different business categories
Leadership: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority as needed; comfortable in low-context situations. Teach and support the financial analysts on team
Communication: Ability to articulate complex business metrics to both finance and non-finance partners
Critical Thinking: Develops an informed perspective of performance after synthesizing financial metrics, KPI’s, and other variables, including internal initiatives and industry dynamics
Self-Development: Committed to continuously expanding own skill set and specific knowledge by remaining abreast of developments in business and finance. Takes charge of creating and pursuing own development.
Basic Requirements:
2 years of professional work experience in a Finance capacity
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V/X LOOKUPS, pivot tables, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience in a Finance capacity and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting capacity
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with internal business team
Demonstrated ability to navigate through various systems and work with data efficiently
