Job Description:

What is the role


Apply and manage margin strategy and the price list in the Macro Distributors (MDs) of LATAM MD north region
Use 3rd party studies to be competitive (and with healthily margin) in the main markets (focused in PCMO, HDEO, MCO)
Collaborating with key Shell internal stakeholders to delivery business growth initiatives through creative pricing strategies/proposals
Utilize Shell's Global network to optimize Margin improvement
Predict and manage the North’s MDs UC3/Total C3 Margins for the month, quarter and year
Use / created analytics tool to support/increase the business
Create, manage and tracking contracts linked with Formula’s Price process
Tracking and manage negative C3 and low margins by SKU level.
Suggest / support pricing promo for increase the volume (cross-sell and up-sell)
Balance between tactical vs strategy actions
Manage the price list and deals for delivery a healthily margin for each Macro Distributor according to their plan
Ensure that the Pricing's tools are working well and with right info
Analyze the pricing change proposals with Sales team
Analyze the rebate request and provide comments, if this request be approved, track these rebates in the conquest deals tool
Weekly / Monthly catch-ups with Sales and Mkt.
Tracking the mix of profitability
Track Global Key Accounts deals


What we need from you

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or any related field is required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance / Pricing / analytics roles with understanding of the margin impacts.
Spanish and English proficiency is a must
Portuguese is not necessary, however is nice to have
Understand Lubricants market and the potential challenges is a nice to have requirement.
Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills, commercial mindset.
Able to work independently and with limited supervision, highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities.
Strong interface / stakeholder management skills and proven ability to work with, influence and lead diverse teams outside the line as well as delivering results through others.
Ability to manage self-performance and interaction in a virtual environment

From Pricing perspective, in 2023, this “North Pricing specialist” will manage LATAM MD North region managing many countries (with 27 Macro Distributors), Supporting 4 “Distributors Account Managers” and this region is/will be supplied from different “Shell plant source” where a strong stakeholders management skill is necessary.
2023 Volume target of this region will be 83 million liters where total C3 target will be $68 Million dollars and the UC3 target will be 82cpl. Strong negotiation skill is required. And also this person should be very resilient.
Handle the Joint ventures relationship inside Pricing – We will need someone that has expertise with our internal process to help us managing “CISA” and “Raizen” (Brazil and Argentina) pricing activities.
Also, we will create and implement some process to better manage and track the C3 performance of the LATAM MD cluster where a person with very strong data analytics skills is required to approach the team using data driven approach .
