An experienced, 'hands-on' and highly adaptable Finance Manager with the ability to drive a wide-ranging finance programme is required to manage the finance function for a highly regarded and well-established fast-growing organisation with investment plans in place to double turnover in the next 3 years.
Our client, a Gold Channel Partner of IFS, have grown to become one of Europe's longest standing and largest independent providers of products, consulting services, and support for IFS solutions, delivering over 1500 projects for over 300 clients worldwide.
Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail accompanied by a desire to run a highly effective, well controlled and efficient finance operation. Ideally holding ACA, ACCA or CIMA accreditation the post holder will oversee a small Finance team providing all necessary support and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare annual financial accounts for presentation to the Company's AccountantsManage the Company's auditors and accountantsPrepare and submit VAT returns in a timely mannerPrepare and track departmental budgets, including updating the 12 month rolling forecast in the Company's financial modelProvide monthly financial management reports for presentation to the CFO for inclusion in the monthly board packManage Debtors and Creditors Invoice Clients on a weekly/monthly basisManage receivables with particular attention to overdue debtsManage payables Control financial transactions (purchase of capital items, payroll, credit cards, etc.)Ensure tax compliance and tax optimisationImplementation of Product Profitability reporting and development of business KPIsImplementation of Product Profitability reporting
Skills & Experience
Previous successful experience in a finance management roleExcellent communication & organisational skillsProblem solving skills with a hands-on can do attitudeComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAble to drive efficient processes through using ERPTrustworthy and discreetAccountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Desirable
Experience in a service/project delivery organisation and project accountingExperience of the NetSuite ERP system
