JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Consulting Group (FCG) provides sophisticated financial underwriting and analytical services for the clients of the world’s largest commercial real estate services company. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to be a part of this team.
In this position you will develop valuable skills, including:
Underwriting commercial real estate using Argus Enterprise and Excel.
Developing disposition strategies in conjunction with team members and clients.
Communicating directly with capital markets professionals, asset managers, leasing brokers, property managers and clients.
Preparing analyses relating to both landlord and tenant real estate strategies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to co-workers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for commercial real estate preferred.
Understanding of mathematical/financial concepts (i.e., Discounted Cash Flow, IRR, NPV, etc.) preferred.
Self-starter who is detail oriented preferred.
Ability to manage time effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment preferred.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field.
Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement preferred.
Some prior related work experience preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
None.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and finance management. Effective quantitative and analytical skills in combination with outstanding communication skills (both oral and written) preferred.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications. Requires intermediate analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong work ethic and adaptable.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
