Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
Assist and coordinate the daily operations of the Accounts Payable teams. Provide in-depth issue resolution. Deliver assigned AP activities and drive for operational excellence within the team.
Payment Activities (which are with exceptions and need in-depth analysis)
Ensure that payment files for Urgent Payments are successfully transferred to bank before the set cut off time
Challenge Manual request and urgent request. Resolve payment issue and escalations; Track the unresolved issues and follow through
Log of BANSTA in FPT; Do reversal and reset of documents (BANSTA & FINSTA)
Process manual payments with due diligence for exceptional cases Manage exceptional portal payments Peer review parameter checking for manual runs
Identify process improvement, control gaps and initiatives for payments
Responsible for determining when to escalate issues to the Payments
Specialist.
Coordinate with banks and handle queries from stakeholders for non-routine concerns
Review and approve portal payments ( in case lack of approvers )
Approve TRAX payments with proper due diligence ( batch jobs , in case lack of approvers )
Act as SME and SU (e.g. raising ticket, testing) Resolve complex and escalated issues
Skills & Requirements
Obtained economic, accounting or finance university degree/qualifications and proven knowledge in accounting
Min 2 years of experience in accounting/finance/banking area
Knowledge of accounting controls
Deep experience in SAP Finance and banking applications
Strong communication skills in English for both spoken and written communication, as well as using Office Communicator, Instant Messaging, Video Conferencing, Outlook, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office applications like MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, etc.
Strong motivation to work in a dynamic global payments team
Experience in leading process change projects and or continuous improvements
Experience in supervisory or coaching is a plus
Work Shift:
Night Shift (8:00PM to 5:00AM)
