Job Summary
Responsible for the creation, development, implementation and presentation of policies and programs to enhance relations and communications between the The Sr. Analyst is responsible for analyzing and presenting information on the company's and its competitors' operational and financial performance, and providing other support to help enhance the communications between **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and the investment community. The successful candidate is able to demonstrate in-depth experience in financial statement analysis, strong communication and writing skills, and an ability to draw key insights and takeaways from analyst research reports, company presentations, and other external information sources.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Analyze, interpret and summarize financial and other information for management reports, presentations, and other internal requests.
Responsible for aspects of the design, writing, production and coordination of investor relations communications, including earnings documents (press release, slides, script and Q&A), conference and roadshow materials, investor relations website and other investor materials.
Monitor, analyze and summarize investment community research on the company and its peers, and distribute to company management.
Build and maintain internal model of analysts' estimates across P&L, cash flow and customer metrics.
Perform research and analysis of industry, peers' and competitors' financial statements, operational statistics and valuation.
Research, analyze and report on stock ownership, investor base, and trading activity of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., its peers and competitors.
Gather, analyze and present internal marketing, operations and financial data in support of investor communications.
Research investor questions and develop answers using cross-functional resources.
Assist in coordination of analyst / investor meetings, conferences, and materials distribution.
Assist in the management of the annual shareholders' meeting and proxy preparation process, including coordination with the Corporate Communications and Legal departments.
Exercise sound judgment and discretion.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
Must be able to also work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance or related field.
Generally, requires 2-5 years of related experience in Equity or Fixed Income Research or Investment Banking (TMT sector exposure is helpful but not required.)
Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of valuation techniques used by security analysts.
Experience in developing presentations.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong writing, communication, organization and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to translate information about operational and financial performance into simple messaging.
Ability to work with external information sources (analysts, companies, consultants, vendors).
Ability to coordinate multiple projects.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
