Learn and know the PC NAM business through the ITO and OTR processes to help drive operational and commercial performance to targets
Member of the PC NAM Leadership team supporting the CFO and PC NAM Leadership in providing analytics of monthly/quarterly financial and operational results to drive orders, profit and cash flow performance and growth of the business
Provide leadership on short and long-range operating reviews and budget cycles and associated FP&A requirements. Lead with the Marine, Industry and Motors segments of PC NAM to develop estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews
Work with business leaders to proactively drive key business initiatives and effectively analyze and report the financial impact on the business
Use experience and knowledge of line of business and trends to determine materiality of variances in the analysis and reporting process
Work with the CFO, HR Leader and PC NAM CEO to manage business workforce planning
Maintain standardized reporting for the Monthly close Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow, Monthly Orders, KPI/TTI templates and all other reporting within PC NAM and to PC HQ
Maintain bi-weekly KPI bowlers for the business including risk and opportunities for the period
Manage and maintain close 1 monthly closing cycle with the sub-segment Finance Managers and PC NAM Controller
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Minimum 7 years of working experience in GE finance, CAS and FMP grads preferred
Desired Characteristics:
Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Demonstrated analytical skills to utilize data to drive results
Team player and flexible/proactive attitude
PC proficiency – HFM, SAP, Excel and other MS Office tools
Demonstrated timeliness and quality in the output to the role customers
Strong communication skills, ability to present results succinctly
