Job Description:
The Global Financial Regulatory Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with the financial regulatory rules in the countries in which the IBKR Group operates. Headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, the group Financial Regulatory Team monitors for compliance with capital and customer protection regulations, and evaluates the impact of financial regulations for the global affiliates. The Analyst will work on entities operating in Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, Switzerland, and the U.S.
The successful candidate will be highly meticulous, team-oriented and capable of identifying areas of improvement in processes and recommend change.
Responsibilities:
Daily monitoring of Capital and Customer Protection compliance
Compilation of monthly and annual regulatory reports (e.g. FOCUS, MFR, CLR, FFR)
Annual review and continuing maintenance of policies and procedures
Assist with regulatory examination and external audit query responses
Analyze new regulations in existing jurisdictions and assist in research of new licenses and/or entry into a new country
Qualifications, skills and attributes:
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Self-starter
Experience in regulatory reporting preferred, but not required
