In a defined geographic territory, the Financial Operations Manager provides financial analysis, planning, and support to nursing centers within the market. Position HighlightsReports to Market PresidentResearch industry best practices to strengthen the nursing centers' financial process through proactive collaboration with nursing home administrators and the market PresidentLeverage knowledge and experience to enhance and innovate nursing center financial analysis to position the market for a deep financial understanding and excellent financial outcomes *Review labor expense for nursing centers within the market to ensure they meet targets based on the centers' needsCreate operational budgets based on historical trends and information provided by nursing home administrators and the market President. Educate nursing center leaders on financial results so as to drive budget achievement and to ensure a full understanding of the use of financial tools and processes to develop, implement and monitor action plans. *Maintain expert knowledge of skilled nursing center practice standards in Financial Analysis and KPI development to deliver comprehensive recommendations and individualized support *Automate, prepare, and maintain various monthly financial reports and ensure they are impactful to the recipients of them. *Monitor governmental changes, both federal and state, that affect the calculation methodology for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rates. *Bachelor's Degree is required; M.A. or M.B.A. preferred. *At least seven to ten years of experience in healthcare administration, financial accounting or public accounting. *Must have a proven track record in analytical and performance improvement success. *Supervisory experience is required.
